National Katyn Memorial The monument soars over 5 stories, reaching into the sky as if sending the Polish martyrs massacred at Katyn into heaven. Visit us often and contemplate the tremendous loss of over 20,000 young Polish officers. This is the view as seen approaching the site from the north along Baltimore's President Street.
Our own Polish Pope reviewing the National Katyn Memorial Dedication book with the Dedication Keynote Speaker Msgr. Zdzislaw J Peszkowski - Chaplain of the Katyn Families in Poland, himself a Katyn survivor.
